Paris based Alstom Power Hydro appointed Kinghorn-Davies to work on improving internal communications with employees globally.
There are 4,200 personnel based in manufacturing plants, customer support offices and on project sites around the world with a concentration in Brazil, China and India, as well as in Europe.

Alstom Power Hydro, a member of one of France's major industrial groups, is the world leader in hydro power. The company had undergone considerable structural change over the previous two years and management recognised the need to develop good two-way communications in their global business. Work included developing a world-wide communications strategy, developing a comms team in each territory, workshops, writing and issuing regular messages to all employees, policy documents and producing displays for company reception areas and headquarters.

External communications
Our work was then extended to include aspects of external communications with a positioning image brochure, concept and designs for a new customer magazine, a new corporate video / DVD and sales presentations,new product and sector technical literature, and a series of briefing papers for journalists and executives.
